Who this covers

This notice describes how ITernative LLC handles information when you visit iternative.com, contact us, use our business and support services, or use an ITernative-managed Microsoft Company Portal.

When we manage systems for a client, that organization directs how its information is handled under our service agreement. Its own privacy and workplace policies also apply. This notice does not replace those policies or your agreement with us.

Information we handle

What you provide. Contact details, company information, messages, support requests, questionnaire answers, and files you choose to share.

Website and service activity. Technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, page addresses, timestamps, referral and campaign information, session identifiers, spam-detection signals, and service or security logs. Our website uses Plausible analytics and separately records entry events to understand visits and interactions.

Browser storage. Some tools keep session identifiers, unfinished questionnaire answers or calculator settings in your browser. Clearing site data removes those local copies; it does not delete information you have already submitted to us.

AI-assisted conversations. Jane is an AI assistant. Chat messages, the page address and a session identifier are sent to our chat service. Our systems and AI service providers may process messages to respond, route a request, or help our team follow up. Please do not put passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information into public chat or contact forms.

Use & sharing

We use information to answer inquiries, deliver and support services, administer business relationships, understand website use, troubleshoot problems, and protect accounts and systems.

Information may be handled by providers supporting these activities, including hosting, communications, analytics, AI, support and Microsoft 365 services. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts and software from unpkg; those providers receive the technical information needed to deliver their resources. Meeting scheduling can take you to Microsoft Bookings.

We may also disclose information where needed to meet legal obligations, protect rights and safety, or work with professional advisers. External services linked from our website have their own privacy notices.

Microsoft Company Portal

Company Portal helps people access work apps and connect supported devices to their organization's management services. Enrolling a device can make its owner, name, model, serial number and operating-system details visible to authorized administrators. App inventory and other device information depend on ownership, platform and configuration.

We use relevant device and account information for work access, configuration, security and support. For a client-managed environment, your employer determines the applicable policies. Before enrolling a personal device, ask your support contact about the specific setup and review Microsoft's explanation of device visibility.

This notice does not itself enroll a device, grant remote access, or change device-management settings.

Storage & retention

Information may be stored or processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Retention varies with the information, service, agreement, operational needs and applicable obligations; backups and security records can have different retention periods.

Access and security measures depend on the service and its configuration. No website or information system can promise complete security. Contact us if you need details about a particular service, record or retention requirement.

Your choices. A real contact.

You can choose what to submit through optional forms and chat, manage browser storage, and ask us to stop optional marketing messages. Some information is necessary to answer a request or provide a service.

For privacy questions or requests to access, correct or delete information, email support@iternative.com with the subject “Privacy request.” Your rights and our response may depend on applicable law and our role in handling the information. We may need to verify your identity or refer a request to the client organization responsible for it. Please do not email identity documents or passwords unless we arrange a suitable method.
